Do you think that the dust cover of a book makes a difference to you reading the book?

Are you presuaded by the visual images portrayed on this book?

I don’t think the books cover would have made a difference to me, because I ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’. But I also think that the spine of the book should be eye-catching, because I could catch a persons attention on a shelf.

cover doesn’t bother me but i would say that if an adult was reading that the second picture because it is more sophisticated and for our reading range i would say the last picture because it introduces the characters

I think looking at a dust cover does make a difference because if there wasnt a dust cover you wouldn’t know what a character looked like or get an idea of where the story took place.

I agree because looking at the cover of the book it gives me an idea where the story’s setting is and also what things are related to it. For example, in the first picture, there is a yellow spotted lizard and a desert-like setting. That would let me know that it is set in a dry place and somehow, a lizard is involved.
